"The Hideaway" Modern Apartment w/Sauna and Grill

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of an apartment. The owners thought of just about anything that someone would need. The space is cute. The bedrooms are a nice size. The full washer & dryer were nice to have. Restaurants & coffee shops just a short drive away. A diner right on the corner for a quick breakfast. Will definitely book here again.

Very central location for the day trips we took in the area. Awesome sauna and grill in the backyard were huge pluses. Took a minute to get the A/C adjusted but was very comfortable after that. Very good stay.

To say the least, this apartment was not as advertised. It is truly a cellar (not just a basement unit) with a concrete floor and the whole unit was damp and muggy - despite the dehumidifier running full time. Everything including plates/ cups etc were wet and therefore dirty. There was no dishwasher- which is fine. But then if we have to was dishes, we needed a sink which would hold water and a drying rack for dishes that holds more than the coffee pot. The main bedroom is an illegal bedroom as it has no windows and the second bedroom is a hallway with a window to small for egress. There was no closet that we could hang dresses or longer clothes - and the “closet” spaces were so filthy full of junk that we didn’t want to put clothes in them. There was a smattering of pots and pans thrown under the sink and they were covered in a sticky brown liquid which was disgusting. The one redeeming quality was the cute sitting area outside so we didn’t have to be in the apartment. I think you need to consider if this unit is even fit for renting.
